World Economic Forum, Business Aviation to Announce
New Initiatives to Reduce Climate Impact of Davos Flights

At Zurich Airport (ZRH) on Jan. 20, the day before the World Economic Forum (WEF) kicks off in Davos, WEF and the business aviation industry will announce two new carbon-cutting initiatives to reduce the climate impact of business flights and demonstrate the use of sustainable aviation fuel at ZRH. Members from media organizations are invited to attend.

The initiatives will have immediate impact, helping reduce the emissions generated by those flying to and from this year’s World Economic Forum.

World Fuel Services and World Energy to Offer WEF SAF Program with Jet Aviation at Teterboro, Bedford and
Dulles Airports

World Fuel Services and World Energy announced a World Economic Forum (WEF) Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Program designed to increase SAF availability and supply chain efficiency within the industry. The program will be available in time for business jets traveling to the 50th Annual Meeting of the WEF to enable lower carbon emissions of flights departing from Jet Aviation’s facilities at Teterboro (TEB), Boston/Bedford (BED) or Dulles International (IAD) to Davos, Switzerland, for the January 2020 event.
